We provide a range of consultancy services to the creative and cultural sector.
Our arts consultancy and fundraising practice is led by Fiona Mason, a senior arts professional with over 25-years’ sector experience across art forms.
We’ve supported a portfolio of over 50 clients since the mid 1990s, helping them with strategic development, producing, mentoring and fundraising. To date we’ve raised over £7.8m for arts projects from public and private funders.
We’ve also produced over 70 tours, festivals and events with national and international artists. We’ve worked in partnership with major organisations, such as the Southbank Centre, the Royal Opera House, Aldeburgh Music, City of London Festival, the Barbican and with many others on the UK touring circuit.

Working with Fiona is a dream. I’ve had the good fortune to work with, support and collaborate with Fiona in a number of complex, challenging and exciting contexts often facing what seemed like the impossible. I say good fortune because Fiona seems to strive through each and every challenge, seeing the possibility, achieving the impossible and taking everyone with her. I truly believe without Fiona’s skills, experience, knowledge and sound perspective many projects would have been much harder to achieve, if at all. Fiona has impeccable management skills for working with people, finances and projects. Fiona is collaborative, working with others to enhance her ideas and empowering those she works with to share and lead. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Fiona, ever. I not only knew the work was being done to a high standard, but I looked forward to our meetings, conversations and problem solving. When asked if I know of a person that could be an executive producer, director, strategist, bid writer, facilitator and business consultant I think of Fiona. The cultural sector is the richer for her leadership and influence.
Paul Russ – CEO and Artistic Director, Dance4
Fiona did a fantastic job of tackling what felt like a large and complex challenge. She took time to listen and analyse from every angle, consult stakeholders and identify a range of potential opportunities before presenting a clear and robust plan with concise and manageable recommendations.
Darren Grice – (former) Director, The Garage /Norfolk Venues Network
Fiona is a highly personable and experienced professional. In delivering sessions for MusicTank, University of Westminster, Fiona has been consistently detailed and organised in delivering our requirements and is a positive and effective communicator. Nothing is too much trouble and we appreciated her flexibility in approach. She’s a consumate professional.
Jonathan Robinson – Programme Director, MusicTank, University of Westminster
Fiona has all the great qualities of a Producer – listening and responding to the artist and guiding with strength, structure and imagination.
Kate Flatt OBE, Director, Choreographer
Both HMUK and participants felt that Fi was a very friendly and approachable evaluator. We are really pleased with her work in providing a comprehensive evaluation of our fellowship programme. The information Fi captured and presented will be very useful in informing future iterations of this funding initiative. We would recommend her highly.
Claire Gevaux – Programme Director, Help Musicians UK
Fi did a fantastic job steering us through some potentially rocky ground as we looked to plan our priorities over the next 3 – 5 years. She understood the resources we have at our disposal and worked with our board’s diverse set of experiences and expertise levels to get the best out of our thinking. I’d thoroughly recommend her for helping any group get clarity of thought and purpose.
